Woman in telehealth consultation

"Laura is knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. Before meeting her, I was concerned about sharing my food journals with anyone, but her nonjudgmental approach makes it easy to be honest. She always helps me stay on track while allowing me to give myself some grace."

What to expect:

Every initial appointment is set for 55 minutes. This is so we have enough time to review your intake form, answer any questions you may have, and--most importantly--allow us time to get to know each other! Understanding your medical history and building a trusting, working relationship is foundational to good care.

Working with a dietitian is an ongoing commitment. Lasting change doesn't happen overnight, so we'll plan to meet regularly (whether that is weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly is totally up to you!) and build on small successes so that after a few months, you can look back and wow yourself with how much progress has been made with what feels like relatively little effort.

Follow up appointments are intended to be a time of reflection and collaboration. We'll reflect on previous weeks' progress, address obstacles, and fine-tune any goals that need workshopped before moving onto something new.

These follow-up appointments are what make working with a dietitian different than a 1-size-fits-all approach. Rest assured that your care will by highly personalized by a dietitian that knows the science and listens to your unique story!
